Terms of Use.

These terms govern the conditions under which you use the Chajaengi website (cardickorea.com) and the relationship between you and the site operator.

By using the site you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

The service requires no registration, no login and no payment. There is therefore no membership contract, no subscription and no cancellation procedure.

• Reference articles on vehicle technology, maintenance, safety and running costs.
• A searchable database of vehicles offered on the Korean market, including detailed model pages.
• Calculators and interactive tools that produce estimates from the figures you enter.
• A glossary, search, bookmarks and a record of recently viewed pages stored in your own browser.

a. Reference only

The content is written to help you understand a subject and to prepare you for a conversation with a professional. It does not replace that conversation, and it is not a diagnosis of your particular vehicle.

b. Variation between vehicles

Component layout, service intervals and procedures differ by manufacturer, model, model year and trim. Photographs and steps are examples. Always check your own owner’s manual before starting work.

c. Estimates

Costs, taxes and fuel consumption produced by the calculators are estimates based on published averages. Actual invoices, tax notices and consumption will differ.

d. Accuracy over time

We correct errors as we find them, but we do not warrant that every figure is current or complete. Regulations, prices and model line-ups change continually.

Chajaengi is not liable for the following, to the extent permitted by law:

• Damage to a vehicle, personal injury or financial loss arising from work carried out in reliance on the content of this site.
• A purchase, sale or contractual decision made in reliance on specifications, prices or estimates published here.
• Any difference between a calculator result and an amount actually charged by an authority, insurer or workshop.
• The content, availability or conduct of third-party sites reached through links on this site.
• Advertising displayed by Google AdSense, including any transaction with an advertiser.
• Interruption of service caused by hosting, network or third-party failures, or by force majeure.

This limitation does not apply to loss caused by the operator’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

a. Our own material

Text, tables, illustrations, silhouettes and generated images created for Chajaengi belong to the site operator. You may quote a short passage with a link and attribution. Reproducing substantial parts, republishing, or systematic scraping — including for the purpose of training a machine-learning model — requires prior written permission.

b. Third-party material

Photographs are used under Creative Commons or public-domain terms and are credited individually. Brand names and logos remain the property of their trademark owners and are shown solely to identify the brand, as nominative fair use. The full accounting is on the image credits page.

c. Removal requests

If you hold rights in material shown here and object to its use, write to the address at the end of this page. We will verify and remove it promptly.

You agree not to:

• Automatically collect, crawl or duplicate the site’s content at scale, or place excessive load on the service.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting.
• Click advertisements repeatedly or encourage others to do so. This is fraud against the advertising network and may result in the site being penalised.
• Reproduce content in a way that misrepresents its origin or implies endorsement by a manufacturer.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisements are selected by Google, not by us, and their appearance is not a recommendation or endorsement by Chajaengi.

Any dealing with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser. Read their terms before entering a transaction.

External links are provided for reference. We do not control the destination and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

We may add, alter or withdraw pages and features. Material changes to these terms will be announced on this page at least 7 days in advance, and at least 30 days in advance where they materially affect your position.

Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect is treated as acceptance of the revised terms.

The service may be interrupted without notice for maintenance, or by hosting, network or force-majeure events.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

We will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. Where that fails, the courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction in accordance with the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Consumers resident elsewhere retain any mandatory protections available to them under the law of their place of residence.
